Chelsea Football Club have confirmed the signing of Portuguese international, Pedro Neto as the Blues look to build a team ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Chelsea confirmed the news on its official website on Sunday, August 11, 2024, the Portuguese international completed his move to Stamford Bridge on a seven-year deal. Pedro Neto is the tenth player that have joined the Blues this transfer window
The Blues have been one of the busiest clubs this window, having joined Tosin Adarabioyo, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Filip Jorgensen, Omari Kellyman, and Aaron Anselmin.
Other players that have joined Chelsea include, Caleb Wiley, Renato Veiga and Marc Guiu have also joined, along with Estevao Willian who will join the club until 2025.
The 24-year-old expressed his delight in his first interview on the club’s website.
He said, “I feel really grateful to have joined this club, I have worked really hard in my career to be here and I’m looking forward to getting on the pitch with this shirt.”
Pedro went on to make 135 appearances for the club and last season contributed to 11 goals in 20 Premier League appearances. He established himself as a regular in the Portugal squad during his time at Molineux and has won ten caps, the last of which came during this summer’s European Championship.
