The Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) organisers, have announced the nominees for its 2024 edition, with Nollywood actor cum movie producer, Femi Adebayo, securing seven nominations.

The nomination list was released on Wednesday at a press briefing at the Sheraton Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos.

In partnership with the Lagos government, the 20th edition of AMAA is themed ‘Celebrating African Creativity’, and the award ceremony will be held on November 2 at the Balmoral Hall, Sheraton, Ikeja, Lagos.

While the Nigerian movie ‘The Weekend’, by Uche Okocha, clinched 16 nominations, Femi’s ‘Jagun Jagun’ secured seven nods.
