Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has successfully raised an impressive N33 million within just 24 hours of launching his non-governmental organization (NGO).
The announcement, made via his Instagram account, has drawn significant attention and support from fans and followers.
In his post, VeryDarkMan expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support, highlighting that most contributions came from individuals making small donations.
“If I tell you how much is in that account now, you would not believe it,” he stated. “I saw the massive love and support when I started seeing amounts like N72, N100, N22, N50, N500. To be very honest, most of the money that was contributed was from N500 naira down. It means most of these people no get, but they want to support me. The love is massive.”
The NGO is set to focus on community development and the enhancement of public schools. VeryDarkMan pledged transparency in the organization’s operations, promising to account for every naira donated.
“I will post the money that was contributed online for everyone to see, and I will carry everyone along,” he assured potential supporters. “If you believe this will bring change, please support it. No amount is too small; even 5 naira is welcomed.”
Despite the positive reception, VeryDarkMan has recently faced controversy, notably involving allegations of bribery and corruption linked to a well-known crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.
