Super Eagles of Nigeria striker, Victor Boniface, has narrowly escaped a potential tragedy following a car accident.

The incident, which is believed to have happened late last night, left Victor Boniface hospitalized as he underwent treatment for his injuries.

Boniface took to his Instagram stories to share the harrowing details of the accident. He posted several photos from the wreckage, providing a glimpse into the severity of the crash.

In the caption of the Instagram story, he expressed profound gratitude, emphasizing how fortunate he felt to have survived such a dangerous situation.

In one of his posts, Boniface reflected on the ordeal, saying, “Na so una for just hear say my enemy don die. God is the greatest.”

Victor Boniface made this post barely 24 hours after helping his German Bundesliga side, Bayer Leverkusen, beat Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 in the league on Saturday, October 19. After missing a penalty in the game, the 23-year-old Nigeria international scored the match-winner in the 71st minute.

So far this season, Boniface has scored seven goals and provided one assist in ten games in all competitions for Bayer Leverkusen. The Nigeria international is one of the major contenders for the 2024 Africa Player Of The Year, organized by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF).
