Lionel Messi’s exist from boyhood club, Barcelona has been dramatic and filled with emotions since the announcement, however, more drama seems to have brewed after reports claim that Barcelona lawyers are blocking Messi’s imminent move to PSG over their FFP issues.

After a tragic ending between Messi and Barcelona over wages, PSG seems ready to bring Messi to Paris. Reports in France claim that PSG already has the Eiffel Tower booked for Messi’s announcement.

However, Barcelona’s Lawyers insist that PSG is no financial position to sign the Argentine, and have filed their complaints to the European Court of Appeals to put a stop to the transfer.

Juan Branco confirmed the complaint on Twitter on Sunday night by tweeting a statement that read: ‘On behalf of FC Barcelona partners, my firm has prepared a complaint with the European Commission and demands for provisional suspension before civil and administrative courts in France to prevent Paris-Saint Germain from signing Lionel Messi.
