Chioma Ifemeludike, a Nollywood actress, has suggested that Tiwa Savage should apologize to her fans for the leaking of her alleged sex tape.
Tiwa Savage said two weeks ago that she was being blackmailed by an unknown person who threatened to leak a sex tape with her and her current lover during an interview with American OAP Angie Martinez of Power 105.1.
The blackmailer wanted money from the Koroba singer in order for her not to release the sex tape, but she refused to pay the money.
A sex tape was posted online on Monday night. While the male in the video’s face was not seen, the lady in the video has a striking similarity to Tiwa Savage.
As the video has gone viral, social media users across a different platforms have resorted to their accounts to express their thoughts on the matter, with some criticizing the artist right away.
Some celebrities, on the other hand, have shown their support for the singer by posting her photo and congratulating her on Instagram.
Angel, a former Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye finalist, had previously slammed critics for blaming the artist, claiming that releasing such a video is a crime.
Ifemeludike, on the other hand, denounced Tiwa Savage’s actions, saying the singer should apologize to her fans.
“You may want to defend this disgusting trend by saying ‘she didn’t release it bla bla bla’ but in a normal society, I’d expect the person in question to expose whoever is behind this act, for accountability and persecution.
“She needs to publicly admit her carelessness and apologise to her fans. We can’t keep saluting immoral behaviours while our young daughters watch.
“She’s been also accused of intentionally allowing this video to flood the internet space at the same time her latest music video is launched.
“These are all speculations. I don’t believe them but Tiwatope Savage Balogun must clear the air for posterity and our growing daughters! Sex is a sacred gift given to humans to enjoy in matrimony by God.”
People are cheering ‘evil’ because it involves Tiwa Savage, according to the actress, who claims that such people are hypocrites.
“Because It’s Tiwa savage everyone is hailing evil , if it’s Chioma Grace Ifemeludike or one regular female in Nigeria, everyone will scream she is chasing clout or she is desperate.
“This hypocrisy is the reason so many ‘polithieftians’ get away with crimes against humanity. So many men of God are not held accountable, so many celebrities don’t have sense! Hypocrisy is worse than corruption!”
