Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah remains focused amid contract talks and speculation regarding his future at Liverpool, according to the club’s manager Arne Slot.

Mohammed Salah, whose current contract expires at the end of the season, expressed his “disappointment” at the lack of a new deal, suggesting he feels “probably more out than in.” However, Slot reassured reporters that the Egyptian international is more integral to the Premier League than ever: “If I look at my line-ups, Mo is more in than out,” he stated.

Slot emphasized that he hasn’t observed any distraction from Salah, despite past comments following the United game in September. “He just kept on scoring,” Slot remarked.

The coach noted that during a recent visit to the Axa training ground, the topic of contracts was not a point of discussion among the Liverpool players, which highlights their focus on the team’s objectives.

Despite the uncertainty of his future at Liverpool, Mohamed Salah has been instrumental for Liverpool. He is currently the club’s top scorer with 12 goals across all competitions so far this season.

Salah’s noteworthy performance, including a double in the recent win at Southampton, has helped the team to secure an eight-point lead at the top of the Premier League.
